Because of the rapid development of economy and the promoting of urbanization, chinese urban are growing with an unprecedented rate. While the tremendous growth of the number and scale of cities and the rapidly increasing proportion of urban population, the urban land market has been continuously improved and land compensation system has been gradual established, which resulted in an increase in the amount of urban land investment and urban land value and shows an irreversible trend of the growth.This paper mainly discusses about the urban land value increment and income distribution, which can be mainly divided into three parts. The first part conducted the deep theoretic discussion by using the theory of urban economics, urban geography, land economics and other disciplines. The second part has used the method of combination of theoretical exploration and empirical research, studied the urban land value increment theory, revealed the nature of the urban land value increment theory, put forward the internal mechanism and model of the urban land value increment theory, described the state of land value increment in the progress of the urban growth combined with urban growth theory. Moreover, with the use of CA model and GIS integration of geographic information system, it has simulated urban growth and land value increment dynamic process. Then it combined with the land value increment theory and expounded the internal mechanism and typical model of the land value increment theory in the progress of the urban growth. The third part firstly described the calculation method of urban land value increment income and revealed the basic principles of urban land value increment income distribution. Finally, it combined with the experience of the land urban value increment income distribution both at home and abroad, and analyzed the current distribution system deficiencies of China and finally proposed the corresponding thoughts.This paper has played a directive role in several aspects, such as the effective allocation of land resources in China , enhancement of urban planning and rationality of the structure, rational allocation of land value incremen income, enrichment of national infrastructure construction funds, controlment of land speculation, improvement of national tax system and strengthening of healthy and rapid development of urban economy and so on.
