| The relationship between the changes of industrial structure and economic growth is extremely close. Under certain conditions, the changes of industrial structure is the foundation and one of the essential factors of economic growth, which in turn will bring about corresponding changes in industrial structure. In organic unity, the industrial restruction and economic growth are inseparable. The growth of modern economy is a process in which economic growth and industrial structure are in mutual promotion, connection and consistent development. As"experimental field"of the reform and opening-up policy, the economical development of Guangdong province is paid much more attention. Hence, it becomes more meaningful to do research on the relationship between its industrial structure and economic growth. On the basis of the fruits of former experts and some relevant data processing, this paper demonstrates the present situation of industrial structure and economic growth of Guangdong province and reviews the evolution of the industrial structure in Guangdong province. After that, the relationship is investigated between the economic growth and industrial structure in Guangdong by using cointegration theory, error correction model and input-output analysis. The result shows that the two parts are long-term steady cooperatively interacted and mutual promoted, especially the tertiary industry effectively promotes the economic growth. But in recent years, the changes in industry structure are not conducive to economic growth, so we should pay attention to the coordinated development of the three industries. Finally, based on some information and conclusions in the empirical studying, in accordance with some specific situations of Guangdong Province, some countermeasures and suggestions have been given to optimize the industrial structure, which aim at promoting the sustained, rapid, coordinated and healthy development of economy. |
