In the 21st century, a very important feature in enterprise competition is the competition for qualified personnel, particularly the middle manager personnel in the company, who playing a key role in connecting the leader and the skeleton staff in the company. The middle manager's competence and development affect the company's future and destiny, so the research of the competency of middle managers is an unavoidable topic in enterprise. Any enterprises are in a particular environment, all the activities of companies are concerned with the environment and all the companies can not develop without environment. At the same time the environment of enterprises dramatically change in range and complexity. So in the enterprises the middle managers'capacity should achieve a higher level to adapt the environment. The emergence of financial crisis in 2008, the promulgation of the new Labor Contract Law, the rapid development of information technology and so on in the environment changes, which caused many Chinese enterprises into difficulties, so more and more manager scholars pay more attention to the environment which the enterprises are involved in. If a company can not quickly adapt to the environment the company will face the disaster. In this case, the enterprise managers should think deeply about how to adjust the enterprise, how to seize opportunities and adapt to the changes of the environment to make the enterprises develop sustainably and healthily. Middle managers who are the core of the companies should clearly know their competency's change in the dynamic environment, so we need to create middle manager competency model based on the dynamic environment.In this thesis we choose the middle manager competency model based on the dynamic environment as the research object in order to discover the links between the changes in the environment and the competency of the middle managers in enterprises. And on this basis, we create the middle manager competency model based on the dynamic environment. The model is of great significance to adjust and train its middle manager to adapt to the changes of the environment, maintain the vital force and flexibility of middle manager in a dynamic environment and maintain its competitive advantage in the fierce market.The main contents are as follows:(1)According to the environment in which the enterprises are and the development status of competency model , the thesis analyses the practical and theoretical significance of the competency model of middle manager based on the dynamic environment.(2)Based on extensive literature and survey we summarize the developing process of the competency model and the approach of the competency model.We use AHP to analyze the dynamic environmental factors and the weight.(3)Based on extensive literature from both at home and abroad, we use qualitative analytical method and summarize the competency elements the middle managers should have. (4)In the thesis we combine the dynamic environment and the competency elements model of middle manager and use questionnaire survey research in which the middle managers consider the importance of the competency elements of his position in the dynamic environment. Then we via analysis, statistics based on survey data, establish middle manager competency model based on the dynamic environment.
