Study On The Regional Economic Cooperation And Coordinated Development Model In Yellow River Delta

Regional economic cooperation and coordinated development are the major issues ofChina in the 21^st century, and also the key factors to realize sustainable, steady and rapideconomic growth. Yellow River Delta, the last untapped river delta in China, is rich in naturalresources, also has good economic, social development foundation and broad prospect.Overall planning, which is a necessary step for regional coordinated development, is also theobjective requirement of Chinese regional development strategy.It is of great significance to enhance regional economic cooperation and coordinateddevelopment. Firstly, it helps to gain the regional comparative advantage, reduce productioncosts, improve economic efficiency and promote the scale of economic development ofeconomies based on the overall planning of regional development. Furthermore, it contributesto realize the regional economic specialization, improve regional industrial structureconvergence and relieve excessive competition situations, form mutual complementary andcoordinated development among various regions. Finally, the author make the overall planning ofregional development, combining with the actual status of Yellow River Delta and reasonablereference, and build the model of regional economic cooperation and coordinateddevelopment of Yellow River Delta.
