Research On Bulk Handling System Of North Port Area In Tianjin

The North Port Area is an important part of Tianjin Port. With the annual increased amount of the bulk handling, change of transportation methods and rapid development of the National Nconomy, higher requirements have been given to the port facilities and daily operation. Meanwhile, use the modern management technique to analysis and optimization the North Port Area of Tianjin Port, building-up a cargo terminals logistics information system and the decision-making system, raise the quay berth and machinery utilization ratio, improve the high grade standard of service and harbour handling efficiency, reduce the harbour being in motion and doing business cost is necessery.First, with the various changes of the cargo and transportation methods , analysis the productive technology, so as to all-round know about the bulk handling system. Second, use the once basic linearity method and Triple exponent level and smooth law method to forecast the entrance of iron ore handling capacity, so as to carry out a plan for the long term strategy of the Port especially the study of requirment of the development of bulk handling company. Third, based on the comparision and optimization, to physically study the reform plan to several section of the current bulk handling system. Finally, analysis the beneficial results to the schemes for the port.We hope this paper will be practically and physically valuable to the strategy of strenghen the compresive capacity of bulk handling company so as to obtain advantage status during the new round of competetion, at same time we hope this paper may also give suggestions to the reform of any other similar system.
