Thelogistics, which is the third profit source of optimizing resource distribution andimproving economic running quality, are developing widely and be attached more andmore. Now port is not only connection point of international trade, goods storage anddistribution center, also becoming an important part of world economy of internationalgoods transportation. It has taken an important part of logistics.Tianjin Binhai New District has incorporated in《CPC Central Committee on theoutline of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan for national economic and social developmentproposals》which had adopted by The Fifth Plenary Session of the 16th CPC CentralCommittee. So based on this background, this dissertation analyzed some advantages ofTianjin port logistic: good logistics port traffic conditions, super geographic conditions,developed infrastructure and related policy support, etc.Paper will make a forecast for the output of Tianjin port. According to this, we figureout modern logistics through macro & micro measures: guide the development planningwith the scientific development conception; accelerate the southern & the northern logisticcenters projects; strengthen port logistics infrastructure construction; make a modern portlogistics services platform; improve port management services; enhance competitivenessand cooperation; change the operating management, etc.Finally, under huge data and forecasts, we suggested a result of the rationalization:pinpoint the position of Tianjin Port itself, balance the Container logistics development ofnorthern center, and mainly focus on southern bulk logistics center development, increaseour competitive power and also enlarge green logistics.
