The Research On The Business Administration Of Tianjin Port Nanjiang Bulk Area

Along with the development of economy and society, Government and people pay more attention to environment issues. The conflict between environment protection and economic development gradually becomes conciliatory along with the technology developing and industries restructuring. Environment protectionoriented Green Marketing has become the trend of international advanced ports competition as marketing globalizing. Tianjin Port, a hub of north coast and integrated transport system of China, is a major trade port and a vital transport node of modern integrated transport network of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. In the main port area of Tianjin Port, Nanjiang port area is a bulk cargo port taking coal,iron ore, petroleum and related products. The environmental problems are very serious in this area which implies the environment protection is an arduous task.Selecting Tianjin Port Nanjiang Area environmental management as a research case, this paper aims at designing and building a more scientific and effective environmental management system, looking for solution methods and patterns for port environment problems, consolidating and improving port environmental management measures. The research is very important on promoting port environmental quality, conserving energy, reducing pollutant emission and advancing sustainable development, improving green competitiveness, forming a win-win situation for economic development and environment protection.We found there are some faults in the environment management of Tianjin Port including irrational planning layout, inadequate environmental management organization and lack of environmental management system and other issues through the investigation of environment condition in Nanjiang Port Area, data analysis of environment report and the survey of existing environmental management system documents. The research shows it is very imperative to set up a scientific, effective and feasible environmental management system for Tianjin Port.First, the paper describes the purpose and meaning of the research, content, research ideas and framework and related concepts and theories involved. Second, it identifies the problems via the environmental management status analysis of Nanjiang port and drawing lessons from international advanced port environmental management experience to seek ways to solve the problems. Third, to build an environmental management system for Nanjing Port based on ISO 14000 Environmental Management System and the fact of Nanjiang Port and to evaluate its effectiveness. To design security measures following the PDCA management model for Nanjiang port environmental management. Finally, it reaches conclusions and prospect the feasibility of extending the research results to other ports.
