The Peer Effects Of Entrepreneurial Path

With the further development of economy,the problem of Chinese employment exposed,for which our countries have taken active measures,and proposed the new ideas --"uphold entrepreneurship to promote employment". Among entrepreneurial path innovative entrepreneurship not only could be able to provide more jobs,which help solve the employment problems,but also be on the important of country's economic growth. Previous findings demonstrated that in the course of entrepreneurship people who have work experience were in the dominant,but very few people chose the innovative entrepreneurial path and more people chose the imitative entrepreneurial path, which have very limited contributions to economic and employment growth. As peer effects existed in other fields,there may also be in the entrepreneurial field,this paper attempted to explore the impact mechanism of the entrepreneurial path with peer effects to improve the success rate of entrepreneurial path,and provided a theoretical basis for potential entrepreneurs to choose innovative entrepreneurial path.The entrepreneurial path selection began with identifying entrepreneurial opportunities,so it was very important to find and identify innovative entrepreneurial opportunities. At first this paper explored the method how to judge whether an individual is an entrepreneur,how could he find and identify the entrepreneurial opportunities and the matching relation between the entrepreneurial opportunities and the entrepreneurial path. Then this paper discussed the effect of discovering,identifying and developing the entrepreneurial opportunities by the entrepreneurs'peers during the course in the transition from employment to entrepreneurs,including the effect of cognitive of entrepreneurial opportunities, risk perception and venture resource integration, and further discussed the impact mechanism with the peer effects on choice of the entrepreneurial path. Finally this paper explored the impact of the organization and family members to the entrepreneurial path with the peer effects through a single case (nested) analysis. Through the analysis and discussion of cases,the education or example function of peer effects in entrepreneurial cognitive and the education or help function in resources integration were found,so the very important impact of the peer effects in the entrepreneurial course was proved with the vivid evidence,so we provided a theoretical and practical basis to our country and government to formulate policies targeted to.This paper may innovation in discussing the application of peer effects in the field of entrepreneurship,and further discussed the impact of entrepreneurial opportunities cognition,risk perception, entrepreneurial decision, and finally the impact mechanism of choosing entrepreneurial path with peer effects. Through the normative method of cases analysis, this paper explored the impact of the choice of entrepreneurial path with work experience and entrepreneurial experience of organization members and family members, and matched the impact mechanism of choosing entrepreneurial path with peer effects. So it provided strong evidence for exploring the function of peer effects during the entrepreneurship and actively explored for follow-up study.
