Research Onapplication Of Lean Production Forautomobile Rubber Sealing Industry Based On Value Stream Mapping

Auto parts industry, as the intermediate link of the auto industry chain, is facing increasingly fierce competition. Automobile rubber sealing industry is confronted with double pressure of the cost and market. The profit will decline unless we reduce production cost, increase production efficiency and improve product quality. Automobile rubber sealing industry is facing fierce market competition; we have to adopt lean production to maintain the long-term and stable development of our enterprise. The management of enterprise will be improved through applying this production model. Then the enterprise will have long-term competitive edge in quality, cost and delivery.This paper based on automobile rubber sealing manufacturing process improvement, application value stream mapping discover problem. Using the industrial engineering basic tools and lean production methods to solve problem; Through the application of SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die) , shortened the production process of different products production conversion time, improved the conversion of repeatability, ensured within the shortest possible time changing mould success and produced qualified products and reduced production batch and inventory level .but not affect the normal production homework; Using Kanban covered all production and related billboards, pulled scenes management, link to realize information sharing and deliver timely production in the specific information, and finally reached the whole production process of rapid response; Through the production operation site equipment layout optimization, Using cells production and production process dominated by various processes internal unit production principle, improved production site layout.
