Land Use Change In Ecotone Between Agriculture And Animal Husbandry In Northern Shananxi

This passage's object of study is the ecotone between agriculture and animal husbandryin northern Shaanxi. The research data is composed of 1990,2000,2007, three phases Landsat5TM images, and the updated images of the second land survey of Shaanxi Province in 2009,and the second land survey database results of Fugu, Yuyang, Shenmu, Hengshan, Jingbianand Dingbian. We make the analysis of changes of the study area by using ERDAS IMAGINE9.2 and ArcGIS Desktop 9.2. Through a series works such as establishing interpretation signs,establishing the classification templates, performing supervised classification, evaluating theclassification results, we analyze the numbers and the spatial distribution of ecotone betweenagriculture and animal husbandry in northern Shaanxi. At the same time, we analyze thedriving factors of land use change in the region, and give the reasonable suggestions to therational use of land and the sustainable development.The results are:(1)Farm land is in the south of the research area.The number is decreasing first ,thengrowing.The number of forest is growing.(2)The soil land is in the north of the research area.The number is decreasing.Theenveriment of the desert is better.(3)With the numbers of population's increasting,the city is bigger and bigger.
