BPR( Business Process Reengineering) is one of the most popular concepts in management field in recent years, whose purpose is to improve kinds of weaknesses of the steep hierarchy in an organization, carry through the thought of organization serving the process, set up rapid-responding systems, and promote competence of an enterprise in economic globalization. In view of its creative feature and no complete theories and methods to follow, BPR practice is full of risky and difficult.Some main reasons for failures of BPR are analysed in this article, such as the mistaken choice of reengineering timing and process. Upon the analysis this article puts up with some countermeasures to ensure the success implement of BPR.The main contents of this article are as follows:1. Analyze the reasons of BPR failure and provide foundation for the implement of BPR.2. Put forward the new reengineering method based on cycle and value engineering. Taking a repairing process of a enterprise as an example, this article has approved the predominance and realization of this method.
