By analyzing the relevant foreign service ways and the new challenges faced by domestic costing industries, the thesis takes the consulting business process of engineering costing consulting company as studying subject, which indicates our country's costing management industries have prepared to change into life cycle cost services in terms of ideology, understanding, tools and methods. In order to adapt to the changing environment, costing consulting business should change current engineer costing consulting business into life cycle costing consulting services from the perspective of their own stategic development. Only by this, many problems can be solved, such as information asymmetry, out of controls over seperated stages` investment, the ignorance on the designing stage-the key control over the investment, seeing the completed project as the end of business process, lacking consederations on the future operating infomation, the excess divisions and involving sections in the whole process, difficult coordinations which fail the project and so on.Basing on the analysis of theories of business process reengineering and project management, the thesis combines business process reengineering with engineering project costing consulting business, and analyzes the urgence of engineering costing consulting firms` business process reengineering and demangding assesment of life cycle cost consulting business` process reengineering, and then analyzes the feasibility of life cycle costing consulting business` process reengineering.Aiming at the life cycle thought which is applyed in the construction project and the other assisting costing controlling measures and methods, the discourses upon the cost consulting company`s probable value-adding approach in the process of cost consulting services step by step is one of the creative points in the essay. The process can be divided into project deciding stage, designing stage, operating stage and so forth. The thesis makes deep and systematic analysis on working range and working content of each stage.In the end, in allusion to each stage`s working content of life cycle costint consulting, the thesis designs new organizational structure and business process so as to adapt to new business requirements, which makes the thesis more practical in the virtual operation.
