Study On Current Status And Policy Of Logistics In China

At present, the development speed and management levels of logistics in China have made great progress. Compared with past years, establishment of laws and regulations on logistics and logistics infrastructure have been greatly improved, but there is a large gap between China and developed counties. There are still many problems in China's logistics management, such as the macroscopic management and microcosmic operations, especially the governmental macroscopic management and people's conceptions are important factors that restricting the development of logistics. This thesis first surveys logistics management and its trend in developed countries and points out the importance of logistics in promoting economic development. Then analyze China's logistics management characteristics, and figure out the major problems and reasons. Then we propose an approach to develop logistics and enhance logistics management in China. Finally, some suggestions on government policies are made on accelerating the development of logistics in China.
