Performance appraisal is the core function in all kinds of enterprise's Human Resource Management .It is no doubt that constructing a suitable performance appraisal policy for the objective enterprise is very crucial. Several years ago, sales volume of marketing department in EX company increased steadily. However, the quantity of sales decrease quickly in three sequential years, many lower managers and salesmen leave their jobs. What on earth are these things?Refer to the problem, firstly, performance appraisal is asserted that it has close relationship with the state of marketing department in EX company by talking with the middle-top managers of the marketing department. Then on the basis of last conversation, the same thing is done as before but with peoples including top managers, middle managers and core salesmen. Secondly the state of performance appraisal which was performed in the marketing department of EX company is stated qualitatively and analized quantitatively with AHP by performance appraisal questionaire .In the end, the crucial factor which influnces performance appraisal of marketing department in EX company is found. Next, the original performance appraisal policy is improved by the theories and manners of performance appraisal combining with the state of the department.
