Analysis of Travel Agency Industry Concentration in China Industrial concentration theory, originated in western developed countries in the 21 century, got its momentum and has been put into widely use because of its adaptation to the systematization and complication of economy and the trend of mathematicalization and modernization in economic research. The theory demonstrates that industrial concentration is an important index to evaluate the industrial development, a crucial move to accelerate industrial modernization, and a basic factor to build up the company's competitiveness in the international arena.With the reform and opening up to the outside world, our tourist industry underwent three stages of preparation, initiation and fast development, taking on a look of"sunrising industry". Acting as an leading role in tourist industry, did our travel agency industry perform well enough to bring about the overall development of tourism industry?This paper applies the industrial concentration theory to the research of our travel agency industry's development, using the index of absolute concentration points, on the basis of abundant data, to carry out the qualitative analysis and quantitative survey of the our travel agency concentration, which consequently make clear the status quo and performing regularity of our travel agency, all those guarantee the result should be straightforward and scientific. Through the comparison between ours and the other developed countries in tourism concerning industry concentration in the travel agency, we could find that the underdeveloped status of our industrial concentration in travel agency greatly restrict the development of our tourism. And both the law and policy and serious internal problems occurred in travel agency attribute to the current status.Along with the acceleration of economic globalization, we are surrounded by a more complicated and competitive international market environment, as a result, it is natural for us to choose the road of scale economy to develop our travel agency industry. After careful analysis and check, I concluded that we must adopt the following two ways to promote the level of industrial concentration of our travel agency industry, on one hand, we should tighten the governmental macro-control behavior, rationally use and unite the relevant resources outwardly to expand ourselves in scale; on the other hand, the faculty members in travel agency should cultivate a strong sense of self-improvement, perfect the relevant regulation mechanism, raise our management...
