Study on the theory of interface management is necessary to make use of all kinds of resources to promote integrated economy in the new period of labor division economy. The present studies on interface management mainly focus on the interface between R&D, manufacturing, and marketing, and on the interface between enterprises, supporters, and clients. There is no general interface management theory yet.The major objective of this study is to come up with the basic theories of interface, to construct the general framework of interface management theory, to enrich general management theories based on the present studies, so as to guide the practice of interface management.The study is composed of four parts. The first part is preface, which reviews and analysis the status in quo of interface management, and puts forward the deficiency of present studies, brings about the objective, pathway , methods and the framework of the study. The second part is the fundamental theories of interface, discussing the reasons of interface conflicts, and analyzing its evolutionary law. The third part is the fundamental theories of interface management. The paper comes up with the dialectic epistemology of interface conflicts, the philosophy of interface management, fundamental logic of interface management, and management countermeasures based on the evolutionary law of interface conflict, etc. The forth part is a case analysis of interface management.The conclusions of the study are: interface conflicts influence organizations in two ways, probably either reduce cooperation efficiency, or facilitate the quality of work and activate innovation; therefore, interface management should be regarded in every phases of management; by means of various tools and methods, negative interface conflicts are supposed to be cut down, while positive interface conflicts to be encouraged; the level and property of interface conflicts should be dynamically controlled, make sure the harmony between internal equilibrium and external adaptation of organization.
