As a result, excavating local characteristics and developing different types of cultural travel are becoming significant increasingly.China was founded on agriculture, and it is rich in agricultural connotation. In the economic work of Chinese ancient times, most areas had primarily changed over to planter industry since the Spring and Autumn Period Warring States times. Farming culture dominated the traditional Chinese agricultural civilization, and it has generated a universal and lasting influence on the development of Chinese culture. However, the current research on farming culture is mainly case studies. The research scope is comparatively limited.As one of the seven ancient capitals and the key scenic tourism and historical culture cities in China, Hangzhou was settled as early as 4,700 years ago, thus giving birth to 'Liangzhu Civilization'. As yet Hangzhou has witnessed a rapid development of its high-tech agriculture. It teems with various farming cultural tourism resources. Its special superiority in location and abundant farming cultural resources have provided Hangzhou with advantages in reality to develop farming cultural tourism. Based on the above cognition, this article is to analyze and discuss the exploitation of farming culture tourismin Hangzhou.Then the article falls into 5 parts:First is an introduction. This part explains the purpose, significance and methods of the study telling the development at home and abroad while confirming the basic conceptions, including culture tourism, culture tourism resources, farming culture and farming culture tourism resources.
