| There are many studies on the manufacturing industry's technology innovation capacity and innovation efficiency separately, but few studies on the two integratedly. Based on the objective data, statistical models, logical reasoning process, this paper demonstrates scientifically and systemically the relationship between competitiveness, innovation capacity and innovation efficiency. At the same time, this paper reveals the competitiveness source and the developing phase of Beijing's manufacturing industry. Finally, The paper get the conclusion as following: Beijing manufacturing's competitiveness comes mainly from innovation resources input, but not resources-allocating efficiency; Beijing's manufacturing industry is far from the developed level; there are uncoordinated relations between competitiveness and technology innovation efficiency.This paper makes use of many excellent methods such as empirical analysis, comparison analysis, literature studying, and historical methodology. The Full paper is made up of five parts.Part one, namely the introduction, has pointed out the research background and the significance, summarized present research situation, and posed research path and innovative points.Part two has discussed elaborately the Beijing manufacturing's technology innovation capacity. This chapter includes the following contents: evaluating the innovation capacity in various industries, analyzing the relation between innovation input and output, and the relation between Beijing's manufacturing competitiveness and technology innovation capacity.
