China's entry of WTO has pushed its service industry, provided new historic opportunity for the export of the Chinese service, and also brought unprecedented competition pressure to Chinese service. Therefore, analysis and assessment of the competitiveness of the service trade of China can not only provide gist for macroscopic economic policy enacting of the government, but also contribute to the guiding of development of the service trade, and raise the competitiveness of the service trade.This thesis is exactly under this kind of background. It studies the traditional comparative advantage theories and Mr. Porter's industry international competitiveness theories for usage of them in the service trade. Firstly, this thesis explains the international service trade comparative advantage theories and the development of country competition, and the analysis of service trade competitiveness in China, and also reviews the development of China's service trade .On this foundation, the thesis is from two sections, which are the main factor analysis of the comparative advantage of the four definition in the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS) and the import and export data, as a basis analysis to research the international competition ability and the competition ability of china service trade. Secondly, proceeding from actual conditions of the development of China's service trade, and according to the former analysis method, which are the comparative advantage theories and the competitive advantage theories, it can conclude four index system, which are the net export indicator, the market share indicator, the index of trade competitiveness ,and the index of the expression of comparative advantage, to evaluate the China's service trade competitiveness and find out its advantage,disadvantage and differences .At last, base on the conclusion above that comes from the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and according to the facing environment and challenge of China's service trade, it carries on the activity of discovery and investigation to how improve the international competition ability of current Chinese service trade, also provides the following...
