Facing the demands of enterprises'getting closer to their customers and suppliers, optimizing and deployment of global resource, the new requirement for ERP system is brought forward.During the development and application of ERP, research of ERP system architecture is the key work. At present, there is no criterion to follow and many researchers all over the world do their researches from various points, however, which aspects involved in ERP architecture have not been presented definitely. To adapt the changing operation in the rapid changing environment, the research of flexible and universal ERP system architecture framework is very important. This dissertation first summarizes the conception of ERP and analyzes the status of ERP architecture research. On presenting the characteristics of different enterprise types and the separate requirements for ERP system, the common functions and structure features are summarized as well as the new requirements of ERP system under the changing competitive environment. Then the universal framework of ERP system architecture is investigated based on the dimension of configuration and view. A description method of architecture layer is introduced; five views of the ERP system architecture and their relations are focused: organization view and its configuration feature, system function modules, information, resource and technology view. Considering the flexibility, a method of two-dimension table structure is adopted to describe the static value structure and dynamic process structure of each view of the ERP system architecture, which can adjust the ERP system quickly under the ever-changing business environment. In the end, Microsoft Access database is adopted to depict and store the...
