In past traditional village life, the family ethics initiated by Chinese culture was extremely thick; the family effectively safeguarded old people's life, so the aged supporting was not a serious problem. However with the rural social structure reform, the reduction of family scale and the proceeding of industrialization, the traditional old caring patterns were heavily affected. The family and land could no longer burden the duty. How to eliminate the social problems and relive the unstable factors induced by rural aging, the only way is to face the music, and pay enough attention to this issue.The witness of many old villagers'tough and helpless life motivated this article. It includes seven chapters.Chapter 1: Introduction. This chapter introduced the present situation of rural aging and its old supporting dilemma. On one hand is the crippling family cares; on the other hand is the bumping process of socialized aged cares. From this point, the article presented its aim, which is to do some research on the rural community cares system characterized with sub-socialization based on family cares. This chapter also introduced some classical theories on social security, which provided theoretical basis for the mode design and policy assertion.Chapter 2: The basic theory on community cares. At the beginning, the concept of community was introduced, which is the essential upholstery for the idea of aged cares in community. The aged cares in community have already surmounted the simple collective caring early days of liberation, neither the patent of some rich rural areas many modern scholars called. It's more than fusion and evolution of various caring methods on community foundation. It can be used to guide the social cares work in different areas. This chapter also summarized some basic theories of community cares from foreign and domestic practices, which steered the launch and implement of rural community cares.Chapter 3: The dilemma in countryside social cares and the way out. This chapter presented an overall description of the current situation in rural social cares system. The conclusion is that on one hand the social cares work in countryside lagged far behind, and on the other hand, the family supporting could no longer burden its duty, which stimulated us to try some new solution.
