A Study On Strategy And Supervision Of Bancassurance In China

In the background of fast development of economy, gradual maturity of financial markets, intensive competition between financial institutions, bancassurance appeared. In 1980s, aging trend of European society, increase of people's wealth, perfection of the financial market, loose supervision from governments bred the appearance of bancassurance and bestowed it strong vitality with which bancassurance has become a new profitable point for both banks and insurers.Our country does not have sturdy outer environment for bancassurance, but it still developed at a high speed and became one of the three biggest sales channels of insurance company. However, bancassurance in China is still in primary stage in which the relationship between bank and insurer is linked by acting sales contracts. This situation will certainly lead to unsustainable cooperation between the two parties and is adverse for elaborating bancassurance's advantages. Therefore, it is of great importance to pose strategies fitting our country combined with successful experience from advanced countries.This paper is divided into five parts.
