A Study On Risks Management Of Bancassurance To China’s Insurance Companies

With the accelerated pace of China’s financial market liberalization, bank insurancebusiness obviously has become the focus of the financial sector to try to consolidatedoperating. The risk faced by the bank insurance business in China in the post-financial crisisera, increasingly complex over the past few years. The rapid development of bancassurancebusiness income has accounted for more than1/3of the total premium income of lifeinsurance, but exposed risks and potential risks have attracted much attention. Therefore, verynatural with a new perspective of the bank insurance business risk management. In particular,after the introduction of new regulations in November2010, a major life insurance company bank insurance business fell sharply, while life insurance premiums to be jointly and severallyaffected. This phenomenon had triggered insurance company for the bancassurance businessrisk management thinking. Therefore, choose from the insurance company’s point of researchon the risk management of the bank insurance business, combined with the empirical analysisof the company bank of the Ping An Life insurance business risk factors, summarized thedomestic and foreign banks insurance business and its risk management experience, usingqualitative and quantitative combination of research methods, divided into five modules arediscussed. Based on the risk management theory and the theory of bancassurance, this paperanalyze the product risk faced by the bank insurance business, marketing channels risk,operational risk, and policy risks, learn from the successful experience of foreign insurancecompany risk management, and ultimately proposed risk management strategy suitable forChina’s bancassurance business.
