Research On Strategy Of Chinese Enterprises Overseas Merger And Acquisition

Since 1990s, because of the rapid development of economic globalization, every country's economies interdependence about international trade and international investment has improved, mutual openness level of international markets also has correspondingly increased substantially. Economic globalization and the becoming unified open world market, on the one hand, the transnational corporations facing broader market capacity, so that they are more necessary and possible large-scale production and marketing in order to fully realize economies of scale; On the other hand, the transnational corporations facing fierce global competition, existing market share and monopoly structure will inevitably be challenged and reorganization. External pressures of the international economic environment and internal strategic of transnational corporations to enable them to speed up expansion and capture the market. A strong alliance and strategic mergers& acquisitions to achieve this goal are the ideal path.The climax of global M&A more than one wave, Chinese enterprises have also joined in this wave of mergers & acquisitions. In 2005 Chinese enterprises the total of overseas M&A was 1.4 billion, and they were in great momentum. Domestic M&A has been experiencing rapid development, overseas M&A is concerned by more and more enterprises. Currently the research discusses and the dissertation on global merger emerges everywhere with the wave of global mergers and acquisitions repeatedly. But from perspective of developing countries, especially the perspective of China, which with a large population and the period of national development, why did the Chinese enterprises overseas mergers and acquisitions, what are the issues in the process of mergers and acquisitions and how to deal with these issues, these are the reality that the current economic scholars and management academics concerned about.
