Nowdays,the opnion of sustainable development is accepting widely and becoming the principle which guides government activities. Being the carrier of all resources and environment factors ,the sustainable land use shows so important that it is the key to gain economics,society and ecology sustainable development . A study on assessment of the sustainable land use just embodies the opnion of sustainable development in land appraisal field. The measurement of land use sustainable development is one of the hottest issues in land educational circles. The article presents that the system dynamics method is a good assessment method after comparing the current sustainable land use assessment method.The article introduces the conceptation,theory of system dynamics and the way to modeling after expatiating the theory of the sustainability and sustainable land use. Measuring the economical,social and ecological benefits of land use of Liandu district of Lishui city in Zhejiang province quantitativly and reasonably, through benefit equivalent. Defining the appraisal stage by the index of urbanization. Then, using system dynamics, a prototype model of land use sustainable development ability about Liandu district is built. From the simulation results of the model, a conclusion is obvious: if average per person plough land is kept between 0.015hm~2-0.025hm~2, average per person construction land is kept between 100 m~2-120m~2 and forest coverage fraction is kept about 60%, the behavior of land use takes on strongly sustainable tendency in Liandu.
