Since innovation and opening, Chinese highway, especially freeway, makes great development. Asphalt concrete pavement has better flexibility and tenacity and suitable travelling crane, therefore the asphalt pavement reaches 70-80% in the international high-ranking and sub-high-ranking highway pavement, and its ratio will maintain the growth momentum. It spurs the increase of the asphalt concrete pavement china. Currently, it has became main pavement structure form .china has introduced foreign equipment into building highway since eighties. Across about 20 years' practice, we have realized that only having lots of equipments could not keep good progress of construction, but must known the science system of mechanization construction, namely technological economy and ministration theory, so it is great significant in practice that the thesis makes use of scale economy principium to research the problem of devotion and output in the highway pavement constructionAccording to our country's highway construction reality, this paper borrows ideas from scale economy and places research emphasis on the asphalt pavement construction, which has high degree of mechanization and huge construction input. The paper selects asphalt pavement construction as the research object and has described the existence possibility and the certainty for the optimization construction scale of highway asphalt pavement from the aspect of economics. The thesis has proposed the sign index of the optimization construction scale of highway asphalt pavement, and has analyzed in detail the factors that influence the optimization construction scale of highway asphalt pavement. Based on this, the thesis has presented the mathematics model of mechanization construction and the mathematics model of asphalt mixing plant's site-selection optimization and has proposed the setting-up steps of the optimization construction scale of highway asphalt pavement, according to the random service system theory and the non-linear optimization theory. Finally, the thesis expounds on the setting-up course of the optimization construction scale of highway asphalt pavement with a specific example. The result of calculation has verified the existence of the optimization construction scale of highway asphalt pavement in the highway pavement construction.
