The development of internet has changed the world in a dramatic way, which has been going through "the time of information" to " the time of information economy" Today, who still taking the idea of information makes financial profit is out of date. The obvious differences between the two times are that the former focuses on the value of information itself, as well as, supplying information; Indeed, the latter concentrates upon controlling the overflowing information and the ways how to choose, manufacture, purify and dig the useful knowledge from a large sum of information. So the search engine becomes the most favorite business in the Internet. For the business enterprises who have a desire to participate in Internet, the search engine marketing is comply with the environment .But since the domestic research for the search engine marketing studying is on the way of groping ,the theories of this area are immature and even if some basic theories are forming but they are still scattered and could not to constitute a system of complete knowledge construction, it is hard to bring the leading function of its system into practice.According to the situation , my thesis draws lessons from the Chinese and Foreign latest research results. I makes use of the marking management science, information management science , information search and computer science synthetically and so on to come into being the integrated and systematic research for search engine marking.This thesis studies from the two levels. First is the theory level: Through a flood data collections, analyses and investigates, my aim is to research development characteristics of the search engine and working principles ,target, value of the search engine marketing and at last to systematize the scattered and disordered basic theories ;Second is the executed level : With the background of the search engine marketing practice of the "X" company, I uses the covariance data analysis method, inductive method and joins together the powerful analysis...
