Study On Agriculture Industry Utilizing Foreign Investment

In the end of 70's, our country began to utilize foreign investment, the same as the time of reform and opening up. Agriculture is one of the earliest industries to utilize foreign investment. Usually it is divided into two parts: Foreign direct investment and indirect investment. In the past thirty years, our government experienced three stages: accept rescue, indirect investment and foreign direct investment. Because of low level of agriculture's industrialization, marketization, countryside population's education, there is little foreign investment in agriculture production and sale, research and development of new breed and information consultancy. So it is very difficult to make use of the other country's experience of developing modern agriculture industry.This paper adopts agriculture industry utilizes foreign investment as the background, based on the theories of two gaps analysis, the impetus to utilize foreign investment, to analyzes systematically the process, quantities and structure of utilizing foreign investment, proposes the way adapted to our country's situation. Secondly, adopting quantification method set up foreign investment contribution model, computing the concrete quota to help the government to make decisions. At last, proposes the countermeasures and suggestions based on the existing problems.This paper is divided into four parts and includes six chapters.The first part is chapter one. It introduces the research background, purpose, meaning, train of thought, as well as innovation points; evaluates the newest research results of agriculture utilizes foreign investment which is the foundation of the study.The second part includes chapter two and chapter three. This part is the research foundation of study. The chapter two introduces foreign investment utilization's impetus, way and influence; chapter three introduces agriculture foreign investment utilization's experience and characteristics, includes the experience and lesson, new characteristics of different countries make use of foreign investment in agriculture industry, and the influence after China's entry of WTO.The third part is chapter four.
