Studying And Practicing Of Criteria For Performance Excellence

This study is to analyze and explain the theory and the essence in terms of excellent performance mode, try to work out a practice for the enterprise to effectively implement excellent performance criteria so as to improve quality management level and to provide reference for those managers and people working on quality management to strive for excellence.In the study, first, it described the concept of quality and reviewed quality management development, and dissertated background of excellent performance mode and its importance. Following the discussion, the study focused on the description of the evaluation structure of criteria and core value of performance excellence, made comparison with the American Baldrige award in regarding of its criteria. Through studying the systematization of criteria and mechanism of its function, it discovered the excellent performance criteria, in essence, is to seek for excellent quality operation. It is a matured standard and a detailed practice for implementation of total quality management system. In practice, it can effectively improve the enterprise core competitiveness; raise the strength for business continuous growth. Finally, based on the practical case study of NCFC and other successful experience of excellent enterprises, it made studies in areas of how an enterprise to effectively practice excellent performance criteria, strengthen core competence and improve quality management level. Aiming at the real situation of the enterprise management in China, it concluded some countermeasures and listed out several suggestions.
