Vegetable industry is an important component of China's agriculture, and has a very important status in agricultural production, consumption and trade. Especially since China's WTO entry in the 21st century, vegetable industry as a traditional labor-intensive industry has very large comparative advantage. Since the 1990s, the Chinese vegetable industry developed rapidly, oversupply in domestic, exports continued to increase and China has become the world's biggest vegetable production and exports. Although the absolute volume of exports is big, Chinese vegetable exports in the proportion of production is less than 1%. So there is still great room for development of export vegetable industry. Uses the constant market share model to analyze the influence factor of Chinese vegetables to Japan in the article. The article draws following several aspects main conclusion: (1) the effect of competition and demand play a major role in the growth of Chinese vegetables to Japan and structure effect make weak role. (2) In recent years, the Chinese vegetable industry possesses comparative advantage and competitive advantage and competitive advantage presents a declining trend. Chinese vegetables own advantage in production costs, commodity prices and foreign circulation costs and have competitive disadvantage in domestic distribution cost, quality and health safety standards. Papers generally divided into four parts:Part 1 is the first chapter of papers, presented research purposes, meaning, and thestatus of research papers and the framework and conclusions.Part 2 is the thesis Chapter 2, a detailed introduction of the Chinese vegetable exportsto the Japanese situation.Part 3 is the main part of the paper, including Chapter 3 and Chapter 4. Chapter 3gives the analysis and conclusion on Chinese vegetables to Japan by constant market sharemodel. Chapter 4 makes a study on the competitiveness of Chinese vegetables in Japanesemarket.Part 4 of the paper is the 5th chapter, summarizes research findings and gives a fewsuggestions on Chinese vegetable industry.
