Since China began its business of simulated mobile phones (1G) in 1987, the business has gone though great changes over the past twenty years. By the very end of 2005, the users of moblie phones are about 340,000,000, which makes China the leading market in the field.As the chief supplier of communications equipment at home, W Communication Corporation, growing with the business in China, has achieved a great success after entering the circle. The industry of mobile phones has become the most profitable part in the company. However, the company is more sucessful in the industry of communications than in that of mobile phones. Compared with the best mobile phones producers abroard, the company has a long way to go.Directed at the marketing strategies of W Communication Corporation and based on the marketing theories concerned, the thesis pays a special attention to select target markets, position products, lay down marketing strategies and put forward suggestions. Begining with analysing the marketing environment of the company, taking advantage of SWOT matrix and analysing the corresponding opportunites and threats, advantages and disadvantages, the paper, on the basis of the delicated division of potential markets, sets the target markets, positions the products, makes an analysis of the marketing strategies of mobile phones in W Communication Corporation and at last, Taises effective suggestions, with a purpose of being used as a reference for the corporation and wishing the corporation to grasp the golden opportunity to make its mobile phones sucessful.
