The Research Of Supplier Quality Management Of Shenzhen Jetpower Ltd.

Supplier quality management is a key section of the whole quality management system of a company, and it makes important influence to the quality level of the company. It is becoming a mutual attitude in the world that supplier quality management should be enhanced. In the international quality management system standards, such as ISO9000, ISO/TS16949, supplier quality management is an important part, and there are many requirements concerning it.The research object of this paper is the supplier management of Shenzhen Jetpower Ltd. This company is a medium-scaled manufacturer, and its brand GP is famous in the world. In general, the quality management system of Jetpower is complete, but it is weak in supplier quality management. This weakness brings negative effect to the whole quality management as well as the operation of the company.Through the study and analysis on the problems and demands about Jetpower's supplier quality management, a new supplier quality management system is raised in the paper based on the current quality management system. The new system will utilize the current resource of the company, and the character of both the company and the battery industry is considered in it. The related requirements from ISO9000 and ISO/TS 16949 are combined in the system, and all the details including process, procedure, standard, organization and resource have been addressed in the paper. It is also confirmed that how to set up the new system, and how to successfully implement it.
