The Research Of Supplier Quality Management On New Product Introduction Stage Of PO Company

With the fast development of modern consumer electronic product, more and morestrictly and urgently supplier quality management requirement adding on the entiremanufacturing industry in present society. As its pro-active, preventive, and thecomprehensive of the supplier quality management during the NPI stage, it has beenwidely used in various kinds of manufacturing area. This paper set up the researchobject on the supplier quality management activities during the NPI stage of POcompany, based on the further detail analysis of the modernly supplier qualitymanagement theory and methodology, maked detail analysis and research on NPI stagesupplier quality management and problems as below:1. Introduce currently NPI workflow and supplier quality management methodbase on the quality management system requirement and related methodologies, makedactual using condition analysis on relate quality tools in the NPI stage, point out someproblem and poor supplier quality management status of PO company currently.2. Based on NPI quality management problem, perform further analysis and putforward some effective optimize proposals, including optimization of existing NPIchecking point in design fixing stage, new supplier quality ranking system on the1stsupplier and second tier supplier, joint quality engineer position set up to enhance thecommunication and cooperation status with key supplier, then made basic effectiveevaluation for these optimized quality management methods.The paper put forward the needs of continual quality improvement theory in theNPI supplier quality management stage, meanwhile, summarized the research contents,and some prospects for this paper was discussed. The investigation and researchconclusion of this paper is a good introduction for the supplier quality managementactivities during the NPI stage in the same industry manufacturing company. And theconclusion also is a good reference for the NPI quality management activities using inanother industry related manufacturing company.
