Large Manufacturing Enterprise Supplier Management Research

As an important management of enterprises supply chains, supplier management is how to use the supply chain ideas, techniques and methods to strengthen and improve the supplier management. In the convergence of internal and external market, value-added realization has become a key to enhance competitiveness and to win a competitive advantage.This thesis expatiates the content, meanings, development process of the supplier management, the necessity and the importance of supplier management analysis, combined with supply chain management ideology and achievement of other scholars. And it makes a systematic research on the supplier management of manufacturing company, SAP, based on the theory of the supplier relationship management, supplier evaluation and selection management and supplier quality management. This paper discusses the classification methods of the supplier and the relationship management of SAP. It also describes how to implement strategic alliances strategy of SAP. According to the process of the supplier management, the thesis provides the suggestions of creating the supplier evaluation and selection system, the supplier performance management and supplier quality process controlling, which provides support for effective strategies of supplier management of SAP.
