Dalian Tongsoft Technology Co., Ltd is preparing the marketing promotion for its new product—the Mail Server. Currently, however, many problems exist in the company as follows: Shortage of Tongsoft' s present product diversification, with low specialization, differential advantage and higher costs; Shortage of motivation to deliver good service, without a service hotline while with a long response time; Disadvantage on pricing strategies, with a weak flexibility; Without construction of its own distribution channel, and a poor management on its dealers' agent; being ineffective on its product promotion with a narrow range; To improve the market competitive ability, Tongsoft decided to employ the deep visitation approach to carry out market research, which may result in effective marketing strategies.In this dissertation, 3C module has been adopted to analyze market environment. Through the research on consumers, competitors and itself, the opportunities and challenges came out, which Tongsoft would probably confront in the future, and also the right market position and the effective marketing strategies for its new product—the Mail Server would come into play.Based on above research plans, the dissertation is completed with four sections, that is:Section One:The main problems on Tongsoft's marketing were introduced in this section.
