Stragetic Industry Positioning On Anhui Province's Affiliating Process Within Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle

Being the strongest comprehensive economic circle, as the pace of upgrading and transferring of the industrial structure fasting, the Yangtze River Delta region is accelerating its process of regional economic integration. As the impact of natural resources and cost factor, the Yangtze River Delta region, especially the increasing dependence on neighboring low-cost resource-rich areas begins apparent in recent years, such as business costs,wage costs issue, in order to achieve optimal allocation of resources, we should take the coordinated development of regional economies into consideration.Anhui, with the eyes of the Yangtze River Delta region, has a geo-political location and natural resources advantage, but for various reasons it does not bring such advantages into full playing. Anhui, as the gap widening with the Yangtze River Delta area, the full integration of the Yangtze River Delta, following the transfer and the industrial division of the Yangtze River Delta,using its comparative advantages, becomes the only way of accelerating its promotion.Analyzing the necessity and feasibility of integration into the Yangtze River Delta, this paper points out that the full integration will benefit Anhui as well as the Yangtze River Delta itself, and it is an important opportunity for the rise for Anhui achieving economic development by leaps and bounds. Through comparative analysis of the relative advantage in specific industry among three provinces of the Yangtze River Delta, this paper points out that Anhui's comparative advantage industry is mainly concentrated in traditional agricultural production,processing industry,energy,raw materials for industry,infrastructure,the processing industries,education,culture,tourism and other sectors, its relatively unfavorable position is mainly concentrated in a in high-tech industries,heavy industry,chemical industry,finance,insurance,real estate and services sector. In the integration process, this paper discusses the function positioning,key location and gradient orientation.
