| Construction machinery industry has gradually become one of superior and dominant industries in Hunan province and Changsha has already been one of the six important construction machinery manufacture bases in China. Besides, enterprise group, with ZOOMLION, SANY, SUNWARD enterprises centered in and around Changsha city, has took its shape in Hunan Province. Nevertheless, how's the real industry competitiveness of Hunan's construction machinery? It's an issue worth discussion while speeding up the development of Hunan's construction machinery industry.So far, our research work on Hunan's construction machinery mainly concentrate on its general state analysis and construction machinery industrial cluster in Hunan province by qualitative research rather than quantitative analysis. As for the competitiveness of Hunan province's construction machinery industry, present research paper has offered qualitative analyses and suggested policies, but seldom quantitative analyses, therefore, this paper tries to make up for it.This paper, first, analyzes the current situation of construction machinery industry domestically and oversea, then, carries on quantitative analysis of the competitiveness of Hunan's construction machinery industry. Namely, by the method of Factor Analysis, making comprehensive assessment on construction machinery industry competitiveness in Hunan province at vertical comparison, transverse comparison and enterprise competitiveness three aspects. Thus this paper draws a conclusion that the overall strength of construction machinery industry of Hunan province has enhanced but still fails to keep up with that of Shandong and some other provinces; in the meantime, these enterprises, inside Hunan province, are in a state of imbalance. Comparing with ZOOMLION, SANY such leading enterprises, other enterprises are still weak in competitiveness and have a long way to go. To end up, In light of the situation, the article makes some feasible suggestion. |
