The Study On Inventory Control Under The Enviroment Of The Supply Chain

With the development of economic globalization and technological progress, buyer's market has been formed, and the competition between enterprises has developed into to competition between whole supply chains. Only enterprises with the ability to respond quickly to customer needs in order to develop its own core competitive power can survive in the fierce market competition and development. How to realize low cost operation based on the satisfaction of customers rapidly and effectively, is a problem many enterprises facing today. Inventory issue has become a hotspot in the research of management again. This paper conducts some study and discussion in the aspect of demand and inventory cost.With the putting forward of the thought of supply chain management, the traditional inventory control theory faces the challenge. Supply chain inventory question and traditional inventory question under the environment of the supply chain has a lot of difference, these differences have reflected the impact of the thought of the supply chain management on the inventory control. Enterprises should start from their own characteristics, find a suitable inventory management model based on the supply chain management, and improve the profitability of the supply chain. It can invincible competition in the supply chain. Under the kind of background, inventory control has become a hot issue in management academic research.This thesis researches inventory issue from the angle of supply chain. Following the introduction of supply chain theory and inventory theory, it analysis and comparison Inventory control of the traditional methods and modern methods of inventory control, Secondly, the thesis describes the inventory in the supply chain under the control of the new regulatory environment, that is, the demand variability magnification and inventory fluctuations in supply chain. It introduces three new methods of inventory control in supply chain environment, such as VMI(Vendor Managed Inventory), JMI(Jiontly Managed Inventory) and CPFR(Collaborative Planning, Forecasting &Replenishment), and indicates respective shortage and range. Again, the thesis describes the mufti-echelon inventory control model, established a model based on centre and the mufti-echelon inventory control, and use genetic algorithms to optimize and control the model, which makes the supple chain inventory cost minimized. Finally considering the absence of the evaluation performance on inventory management in supply chain, it is presented that the performance evaluating principle and the evaluating index. It evaluates the performance of inventory management of supply chain through the illegibility synthesis judge method, which is good to decision-making of supply chain management.
