Since carrying out economy reform in our country, both external managing environment and internal managing mechanism of private enterprises have taken place deep and basic changes. Especially entering 90's, a great deal of foreign capital flow into our country. Many overseas multinational companies make domestic investment to set up their plant or subsidiary company in our country. Their advantages in product competition put forward the rigorous challenge to the private enterprise. In order to run the business effectively, more and more companies carry out employee's localization strategy. This trend launches human resource competition invisibly with our domestic company, especially the private enterprise, and put more and more big pressure on human resource management of the private enterprise. If the private enterprise has no positive and effective reply, it will be placed in a passive position in this human resource competition. Without effective measures to attract and keep core technical and management human resource, the farsighted development of the enterprise will be affected.Under this kind of background, the person's development has become basic direction of human resource development and management in private enterprise. The career management is a right stairs-way to this direction. Through participating and leading knowledge employee's career management, the private enterprises can make co-development and attain to enhance their cohesiveness, stable and keep their knowledge employees.The thesis has been produced through the combination of theory and practice, and based on the relative articles and material. Additionally, a case study was used to support the conclusion.The thesis firstly introduces the background of the thesis, and the significance and the purpose of the study, and describes the current research situation and the practice in the relevant of china and other countries. Then the thesis summarizes relevant theories which have important instructional meaning on human resource management of the private enterprises, for example, The Odore W. Schultz's capital theory, John Holland's occupational orientation theory and Edgar Schein's career anchor theory. Following that, the thesis discusses the necessity of carrying out knowledge employee's career management for the private enterprise, and analyzes the current situation and the practice in the private enterprises. And then, the thesis researches on the content of knowledge employee's career management innovation for the private enterprise.
