In the era dominated by knowledge-based economy, the power of knowledge is becoming increasingly important, therefore, the knowledge workers are playing a more and more vital role, which results in that the advantages of organization competition rest with the competition of knowledge workers. How to motivate knowledge workers to perform better is associated with the overall strategic objectives of organizations. How the workers obtaining their career success, the organization improving the efficiency and developing well by using career management scientifically and effectively and mobilizing the activeness of knowledge workers have become an important problem faced by the organization. This thesis put forward specific countermeasures in hopes of providing some useful lesson for the career management of knowledge in public sector by taking the career management of knowledge workers in public sectors as the research object, along with the characteristics of knowledge workers, using the basic theories of workers’career management, combining with the special nature of the personnel in public sector, conducting a systematic analysis of the career management of public sector knowledge workers and taking the issue of career management of knowledge workers working in The Inner Mongolia Telecommunications Administration for example.
