Most cities in our country have started urban management practice and achieved favorable results. Urban management also leads to the upsurge of urbanization development and brings along the booming of regional economy. Some cities choose proper management model, so that they perfect the infrastructure, enlarge the urban scale, strengthen their self-capacity, promote regional brand and regional prosperity.Urban management is the market operation of urban available resources with the means of market economy, which is based on the scientific analysis of various urban resources and realized according to urban development strategy and urban planning, and optimization of the distribution of urban resources and maximization of its effectiveness so as to develop urban economy, perfect urban function and improve urban competitiveness. After many years' practice and development, there appear lots of urban management models which are worth learning.
