Analyze Evolvement Of The Scale Of An Enterprise Following An Inverted-U Curve From A Viewpoint Of Standardization

This paper aims to find real reasons and outer forms affecting the scale of enterprise, and pursues the trendy for the scale of enterprise when the environment changes a lot which leads us to enter the age of information.First of all, the assumption that the scale of enterprise follows the curve of inverse-U has been presented. Next I describe the situation of enterprise-upsizing, and find some real reasons and outer form—standardization to explain that. In order to make readers know how the standardization affects the scale of enterprise, I demonstrate that above from historical and nonobjective points of view. Following that, I certify that standardization will change in the age of information, and absolutely it will take effects on the scale of enterprise which moves forward to downsize. In the end, I give some suggestions on small and medium-sized enterprises' development.This paper is made up by five parts. First, presenting the assumption that the scale of enterprise follows the shape of inverse-U; Second, giving some details of upsizing of the scale of enterprise, and analyzing some factors and outer form—standardization; Third, discoursing upon standardization, on one hand to use history to explain that standardization is the choice of history, and on the other hand to demonstrate that industry development calls for standardization; Fourth, emphasizing the key status of small and medium-sized enterprise by standardization; Fifth, giving some suggestions on how to develop our small enterprises.
