In recent years, venture capital is more and more important to the promotion of independent innovational ability and new technical industry of our country. Venture capital project teams also get attention increasingly. But there is not yet any deep analysis in this respect. Thus, we would like to find out the structure dimensionality of project team climate and team performance and their correlation, which depend on the actuality of domestic venture capital company. Investigation experience of scholars, including our country and foreign countries, was used for reference in this study.Team climate is the cognition that team members realize team target, team operation and team structure. As a significant social psychological factor, it would influence team performance.After collected items with questionnaire and screened them with statistics analysis, the author finally worked out two scales of team climate and team performance.The study results showed that:1. team climate should be a multidimensional psychological structure which consist of fivefactors——leadership style, vision, communication and cooperation, colleague relationsand participative safety;2. team performance should be a multidimensional psychological structure which consist ofthree factors——satisfactory degree of team member, task completion and performancespecifications;3. the relationship between team climate and team performance displayed positive correlation according to the data.Therefore, we can draw a conclusion that research hypotheses were validated. Moreover, data analysis had demonstrated that the two scales had favorable reliability and validity.The study of team climate and team performance is a deeper understanding in the field of organizational behavior. These results will help team members adjust their attitude, motivation and skills, so that they can adapt team operation as soon as possible, and become a person with ability. On the other hand, this study supplied tools for employers to measure or diagnose team climate and performance, enhance their management, promote their competitive ability consequently.
