On the modern enterprise human resource management, performance management has been put more and more concerns. Performance management is a system which consists of performance planning, performance coaching, performance appraisal and performance feedback. Performance communication links every stage of performance management, which is the soul and core element of performance management.The abroad and domestic relevant study of performance communication is mostly about the communication of performance coaching and performance feedback. On the basis of relevant study, this paper discusses how to make performance communication effective and fruitful during every stage of performance management. This paper tries to establish a research framework and system of performance communication, which covers performance communication system, performance communication mechanism and an integrated case of performance communication.Chapter One introduces research background, research significance and the framework of this paper. Chapter Two discusses the concept and functions of communication, management communication and performance communication, and summarizes the relevant study of performance communication. Chapter Three focuses on how to establish a performance communication system based on performance management process, which is the principal part of this paper. The main content of this chapter includes the preparation, procedure and practical process of performance planning communication; the content, style and skills of performance coaching communication; the communication of performance appraisal project, performance appraisal process and performance appraisal appeal; the preparing work and interview skills of performance feedback communication; constructing a continuously circulatory performance communication system according to the theory of PDCA cycle. Chapter Four mainly discusses the relevant regulation and culture of performance communication system, and the circulating mode of performance communication mechanism. Chapter Five analyzes the main problems exist in the performance management system of a typical company, and how to improve performance from the perspective of performance communication.
