In order to be seasoned with the changeful environment and the competitive market, more and more companies use working team as a new organizational pattern. Now how to improve team effectiveness has been an important and urgent problem for team management. Based on business ecosystem theories, the present thesis discusses the factors affecting team effectiveness and their hierarchy by theoretic analysis and demonstration research, and then sets up the evaluation model for team effectiveness.In this thesis, team is the organism in business ecosystem, and the related theories are employed for building the whole evaluation system. First, the paper analyzes the theories about co-evolution, enterprise ecology niche and self-organizing, and find out three main factors and seventeen secondary factors which can influence team effectiveness. Second, it use questionnaire survey to checkout and modify these factors and their hierarchy. Third, it sets up the function expression and the evaluation model for team effectiveness based on the business ecosystem theories.The evaluation model takes the team and its environment factors as the whole business ecosystem. Abiotic environment and biologic environment affect team effectiveness outside it. Inside the team, team design including aim, size, power structure, working criterion and skill combination, and team process including morale, solidarity, harmony, study, faith, leading, communication and prompting not only influence each other, but also affect team effectiveness together.For the evaluation model's application, the thesis puts forward several ways and suggestions to advance team effectiveness with results of the survey. There are all about how to adapt the team's environment, how to design the team and how to manage the team's operation.Finally, the problems about theoretic analysis and demonstration research requiring further studies are discussed.
