Analysis Of International Competitiveness Of Main Agricultural Products In Jinlin Province

The improvement of the international competitiveness of the main agriculture products brings a lot of importantly realistic benefits, such as the enlargement of domestic and foreign markets, the increase of the farmers' income, as well as the promoting of the overall province's economic growth. This paper has made primary study on the countermeasures to improve the international competitiveness of the main agricultural products in Jilin Province on the basis of relative theories and data.At first, this paper describes the basic concepts and relative theories about agricultural products' competitiveness. After introducing the international experience about agricultural trade, it has analyzed the current situation of the international competitiveness about main agricultural products and pointed out the existing problems and influence factors by the ways of revealed comparative advantage and competitiveness Index. At last, the author suggested that the international competitiveness of main agricultural products should be raised by fostering the agent of market management, decreasing the cost of farm management, adjusting the supporting and protective policies of government by improving their qualities and creating famous brand of green agriculture products.
