The weakening of the function of traditional elderly support and the omission of existing social security measure make old people of countryside face the risk of supporting parents. The government tried the social endowment insurance in the countryside in 1992, but failed to popularize . So, it is still very essential to reconsider the mode of elderly support to the countryside and the way of its realizing .This text attempts to make a study of the socialization of the elderly support through the frame of " the country - the society " so as to seek one realizable way to it . Here, socialization of the elderly supporting means the transformation of the function of elderly support from family to the society. The transformation of this kind of function is a kind of thinning reflection of the division of labor in society in a sense. How to define each own duty and utilize each special advantage to accelerate this transformation of course should be the most important question we will solve.After analyzing the existence foundation of traditional supporting the elderly of countryside and challenge that faces, we come to the conclusion that the best way of supporting the elderly is to socialize it., and the necessity, feasibility of the socialization and the restriction factor during that time are also analyzed. After comparing several kinds of socialized modes , we present the ideal one. At the end of this text, the function of society and country are analyzed in focal point, and propose the realizing countermeasure accordingly on this basis:Based on the above, this text proposes the following countermeasure of realizing the socialization of the elderly support. Firstly, realize the socialization of raising funds for the elderly. Secondly, realize the socialization of the form that supports the elderly. Finally, realize the socialization of the carrier that supports the elderly.
