Analyzing Of Innovation System's Running In Network Organization

The key problem of this dissertation is the special mechanism of innovation system's running in network organization. In the 21st century, survival circumstance of enterprises changes quickly, technology increasingly improved, market demands' level advanced, products' lifecycle shorter, and competition severer than anytime, and innovation increasingly becomes the source of and impetus to the survival and development of enterprises. New rival circumstance requires that enterprise should be more flexible and have the competence of sustaining innovation. The former rigid and relatively fixed organization structure doesn't keep up with the environmental demands, so network organization emerges as the times require. Since J.A.Schumpeter brought forward the word—innovation, a series of theories about it have been formed, from the research of innovation particularly from some angle to the theory of system innovation finally. The latter insists that enterprise's innovation be an omni-directional and systemic engineering, relative to all aspects of enterprise. To sum up, it is theory-based and practical to research innovation system in network organization.The dissertation, according to the logical path—the summary of research, the analysis of theory, the analysis of case and conclusion, based on the prevenint theories, sums up the unique characteristics of network organization which traditional organization has not. Then it analyses the running mechanism of enterprise's innovation system by the automobile model, anatomies how these characteristics act on innovation system, and brings forward the tractor model. The author points that the characteristics be suited for system innovation, which can enhance theadaptability of innovation and impel sustaining innovation. Through the analysis of the successful case of foreign and local enterprises, the last part of the dissertation explains how network organization utilizes these characteristics helpful for system innovation, makes every component of innovation system cooperated with each other and becomes the resource of the enterprise's rapid growth and sustaining innovation.The chapter four, which is the core content, not only analyses the running and power mechanism of enterprise's innovation system in detail, but also discusses how network organization impels the running of enterprise's innovation system. Firstly, culture and institutional innovation of corporation study in organization studying act on technology innovation and push innovation system. Secondly, specialty mended by each other among individuals and decision-making together inspire entrepreneur's potency of employees and become the pull of innovation system. Thirdly, information net directly causes organizational innovation and provides innovations else with resource condition. Fourthly, organization's opening and flexibility heightens sensitivity to market, induces market innovation, and improves the adaptability of innovation. Finally, shared vision and trust agreement make organization more stable, and support the running of enterprise's innovation system by culture and institutional innovation.Although the running of innovation system is discussed on the base of the special organization structure—network organization, it is meaningful, in some degree, to give reference and guidance for normal enterprises in how to carry out sustaining system innovation and improve the adaptability of innovation.
