In modern companies, the knowledge workers who assemble knowledge, information, science and technology will receive more and more attention. They use their knowledge to add enterprises'products and service values. Compared to tangible assets controlled by minority investors, enterprises'knowledge capitals disperse in the knowledge workers'brain. So, how to manage and increase knowledge workers performance for promoting enterprises'all-round development is an important issue that many enterprises management concern about.Employee performance has long been confined to the range of job description. Due to the characteristics of knowledge workers, only depend on knowledge workers'"in job performance"can't satisfy the long-term development of companies. In this situation, Organizational citizenship behavior has been of increasing interest to both scholars and managers. Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is not concluded in the job description. It's discretionary, not directly or explicitly recognized by the formal reward system, and that in the aggregate promotes the effective functioning of the organization. It's spontaneous. Employees won't be punished even if they didn't carry out these behaviors.Performance management is an important component as well as the core of human resource management system. The study techniques include documentary research, questionnaire and on-the-spot investigation. Based on previous researches, through the interview and the investigation the relationship between performance management and OCB of knowledge worker has been studied. Such multiple statistics as factor analysis, anova analysis, correlations analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were applied for the data analysis. The conclusions were drawn as following: performance manage accounts for the unique amount variance only in individual initiative beyond demographic variables. But value orientation accounts for the unique amount variance beyond demographic variables and performance manage. Correlation between performance manage and OCB of knowledge worker is moderated by value orientation. Variance analysis results indicate that state-owned enterprises have higher score than private-owned enterprises in social welfare participation, while private-owned enterprises have higher score than state-owned enterprises in individual initiative. In the end, for effectively motivating knowledge worker's organizational citizenship behavior, feasible suggestions on how to establish further perfect performance management are put forward.
