Analysis Of Electric Power Supply And Demand And Economic Growth Based On Panel Data

This article start from the electricity supply and the electricity demand, the development of electricity past years are studied, then the impact factors of the electricity supply and demand are put forward, the basic analysis are put up in this article. The Panel Data Model techniques the Granger-Causality (GC) and Error Correction Model(ECM) are applied to analyze the relationship between electricity supply and demand and the Chinese economy. From the model, we conclude that economy development, economy structure and electricity consumption per GDP are the main factors that affect the electricity demand. The economy development, average hours used per year of electricity machine and electricity consumption per GDP are the main factors affect the electricity supply. The analysis between 30 provinces and the six electric areas indate some solution should be put forward in order to insure the electricity safety.
